Ashley provides exceptional horsemanship and a hands-on approach when producing young horses. Every horse is treated with individual care and attention and ridden by him, which is highlighted by his sales portfolio. Notable sales include; Calafornia who sold to US with numerous European Grand Prix placings, Vaco who competed at 1.45m and sold to Italy and Camina who later sold on to Australia with results up to 1.45m with Lauren Hough.
Ashley has a great eye when it comes to sourcing future contenders. With his experience, teamed up with established relationships with the world's best riders and breeders, he undoubtedly has the connections to match you to your next equine super star.
Quality horses are hard to come by and it can be just as difficult when breeding. Ashley is often at European sales and understands the commercial breeding trends. He is available to offer independent breeding advice for select stallions and aid the process when purchasing young stock.
Schooling, Sales & Competition Livery
After spending the last decade spent between Erik Laenen's Roshoeve stables in Belgium and James Fischer in the UK, Ashley learned his skills from the masters and built up a professional repertoire producing and competing some of the most exciting young horses in Europe.
This experience, as well as international competition, has given Ashley the opportunity to train alongside many influential riders and trainers from all over Europe, most notably James.
Now Ashley has opened the doors at Quainton Stud to help school and further educate a small number of clients horses and help them reach their true capability, whether to send back to the owner to ride and compete or to sell on.
Everyone has something to improve on and if you can't quite grasp what that something is, Ashley will be able to assist. He will help you reach your goals whether novice level or Grand Prix.
Individual and group sessions are available at Quainton Stud, equally Ashley is happy to travel within 100-mile radius of the stables.
Quainton Stud boasts some amazing facilities including an indoor school for those typical English summers, so that you can ensure you can still have a lesson whatever weather is thrown at you!
